Un Choque Cultural

ok so
i didnt have culture shock problems
you guys know i tend to be a 'oh so this is what were doing now...cool' kind of a person

anyway
so last tuesday we went to the irish rover
its the bar in salamanca where all the americans, other internationals, and spaniards who want to find loose americans can be found

and now i have experienced culture shock
...of the reverse variety

ive spent four months in spain living and going out with spaniards
they dont drink like americans
they dont dance like americans
they dont flirt like americans
and id forgotten that

so at the irish rover
there was much dance floor sexing (que horror!)
someone projectile vomited from the second floor balcony out over the dance floor / bar area (would have been WAAAAAAY less funny if i hadnt been on the second floor)
and i was called a spanish bitch on two different occasions for saying i wasnt interested

coming home in january will be interesting
