so more on my schizophrenic buddy luís:

- he used to be an engineer
- he has five kids, two of whom are having similar issues
- he is a tricky bastard
- i am of the opinion that he has the potential to be very successful in american business (just crazy enough and, as you will soon see, enterprising)

on tuesday i found out what he needed the money for:

he came into the neuropsych office and started telling me that i needed to leave because he needed to have a private conversation with the doctor
said doctor informed him that i couldnt leave because i work there...so i didnt move
frustrated, luís tried something new
he repeated his wish for privacy - in PERFECT english (trust me this is super rare in spain, no one at work comes anywhere near understandable english)
so i left

two minutes later luís also leaves
he spent his two minutes of privacy informing the doctor that he needed to be discharged and required a letter to that effect
oh - and that he was willing to pay 1000 euro for said letter

on wednesday he tried to escape via taxi

and he spent his thursday morning forging discharge letters from some OTHER doctor
and proceeded to present them to everyone at the clinic
